About this trip
Koh Chang is bigger than most people expect — driving around it takes the better part of a day — so we split the stay between two coasts.
Two nights on the west side for the long beaches and sunsets, then one night at Salak Kok on the much quieter east.
One day is set aside for snorkelling. If the sea is rough we swap it for an island activity; safety comes first.

Itinerary
Day 1
Bangkok to Koh Chang
Morning departure, afternoon ferry, check-in on the west coast, sunset on the beach.
Day 2
Snorkelling day
A full day by boat to the Rang islands, three snorkelling stops, back by evening.
Day 3
The quieter east
Move to Salak Kok, kayak through the mangroves, and dinner with the community.
Day 4
Return to Bangkok
Breakfast, a late-morning ferry, and back in Bangkok by evening.
